Plants need water, nutrients, and sunlight (a planet needs atmosphere for sunlight to travel and reach plants) to grow. If the other planet lacks just one of those things, plants can’t be grown there. I’m sure there are other things that will affect plant growth on other planets, like different gravity, different atmospheric pressure, different soil composition and so on and so forth. It’s an exciting thing to think about!
