  Both aquatic and land plants produce toxic plants which would kill us if they were be eaten. However as we are land mammals I would say that to us the land plants are more dangerous simply because we are more likely to come into contact with them and ingest them by mistake. Also the stinging or poisonous varieties that burn our skin or cause rashes tend to be land plants.
