Alison Tidy answered on 30 Mar 2023:
I went to the University of Nottingham which has an excellent plant science department. I think it is important to visit the university and get a feel for it but also look at different courses, some university’s will have a better X department while others will be better as Y. Having good lecturers is really important for your learning and can really make a course.

I am at the University of Essex. It has an ever-growing plant science department and the capacity for marine plants as well. The campus is filled with green spaces and the accommodation is reasonably priced. They were also more flexible when it came to accepting A-level grades.
